The selected coffee beans, from different coffee species, a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffees originating from plantations in Africa, Asia, and South and Central-America, come in whole beans to keep the aromas in the coffee beans as long as possible or are grounded to the ideal size using the right methods to enable you to prepare your favourite coffee in only a few seconds.

The produce of the coffee plant is green when it is harvested. The one we find on the shelves of the speciality coffee stores, of the supermarkets or in small shops has a colour from light brown to deep, shiny and oily brown. The first step of making coffee is roasting, which is not just a simple process, but a real art. The degree of roasting may be light, medium and intensive. Aroma and flavour are produced in this process and this is when coffee beans reach their final colour. The second step is grounding. Pursuant to the finesse of the grist we may differentiate between Turkish, espresso, fine and semi-fine ground coffee.

Coffee dealer companies use market researches and assessments to set the correct ratio of Arabica and Robusta coffees in a given blend, to set the degree of roasting. The different roastings are Vienna (mid-brown colour, slightly oily surface, the aromas only start to emerge due to the heat), French (deep brown colour, oily, shiny beans, a slightly acidic taste in the brewed espresso), Italian (deep, oily brown colour, smoked, sweet, chocolaty taste, various aromas), Spanish (the beans are almost burnt, it has a completely deep brown, almost black colour and it has a bittery taste). The taste of the coffee is defined by the ratio of the bitter and the sour components. Robusta coffee has a higher caffeine content, contains more acids that its partner and has a slightly bittery taste. Arabica coffee has fewer acids, has a long lasting, caramel-chocolate aftertaste.

Bravos Classic is for those who prefer a traditional, well beloved taste, to prepare a long black or an espresso, with or without milk, in the morning or during the afternoon.

Bravos Espresso

Selected coffee beans, different species, a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffees from plantations of Africa, Asia, South and Central America, with an Italian, deep brown roast, finely grounded to prepare the finest, creamy Bravos Espresso, a refreshment to enjoy every day.

Espresso originally in Italian means fast, urgent. Its characteristic tasty aroma is reached using the right, professional roasting that result in deep brown coffee beans with an oily shine. The blend contains a larger part of Robusta (60%) and a smaller part of Arabica (40%) coffee. The prepared drink has a strong, mellow taste, has high caffeine content thanks to Robusta.

Arabica gives it a taste rich in aromas, colourful taste. How does a real espresso taste? It is tasty, creamy, has a characteristic flavour and aroma, a dark colour, is sweet even without adding sugar and has the crema on the top, the creamy, reddish brown froth.

Bravos Espresso is a refreshment to enjoy every day, use it to prepare an espresso, drink it while its fresh, right after preparation, from a preheated cup, as if you leave it to settle, the drink loses a lot of its recreational value, its aroma.

Bravos Premium - A SPECIAL DELICACY

Bravos Prémium is made solely from Arabica coffees originating from South and Central American plantations, roasted to a deep brown colour and grounded to the right size using the right processes. Two thirds of all the coffee produced in the World is Arabica.

The finest quality premium and dessert coffees are all made of Arabica coffee. It has a lower level of acids and less caffeine than other species. Following roasting one can discover the taste of caramel, chocolate or even nuts.

It retains the aromas for a longer period. It is suitable to prepare an espresso or a long black, a latte with lots of foamy milk, or even our favourite cappuccino. It may even be used to create a refreshing iced coffee with vanilla ice topped with whipped cream for a hot summer evening.
